Hello everyone. I'd like to talk about what's been happening with the group and some changes that were made in the “recent” days.

So, around March ‘15 I noticed that I had been the only active admin for quite a while and decided to take it to the Founder. I contacted him but didn't get a response until a year later - during that year I did some reorganization in the gallery while trying to keep it alive - even when I was appointed “Head Admin” there still were issues with permissions and I couldn't do much more than I was able to. In the late June I became unavailable - that's when submissions couldn't be accepted at all - due to real life stuff but after a while I managed to resolve most of the issues and work a bit on the group. And now about the changes.

:bulletgreen: First of all, there's now only one folder for submissions. I feel this is the most convenient option for everyone and will reduce the confusion with the folders when submitting your vectors.

:bulletgreen: Second, I'd like to introduce our new staff team:
:icongebros: Gebros
:iconmewtwo-ex: mewtwo-EX

They will keep the group afloat while I'm away, so ask them right away if you have any questions.

And one last thing, please resubmit your expired submissions from the last months, they're definitely going to be accepted now.

Due to some ambiguity in our current rules, we have decided to add a new rule to further clarify what we will and will not accept. As you may know, all deviations must be accepted by an admin to be accepted into our gallery; however, we all have had different views on what amount of raster(bitmap) content is allowed in an image. Since we are a vector group, the final decision was that only "meta" content such as a tumblr ask blog question or a meme layout are allowed. All other parts of a submission must be fully vector. This means no bitmap cutie marks, effects, or backgrounds.

And the new addition to the written rules is as follows:

All submitted art must be solely vector content with the exception of small details such as tumblr questions or meme layouts that do not contribute to the art itself. What does and does not constitute raster content allowed by this rule will be decided on a case by case basis.

This rule is effective immediately and will be retroactively applied on current content.

Sorry about the slight mishap everypony. Members are once again fully allowed to submit art. Enjoy the upcoming holidays.

Good evening everyone,

We are looking for extra administrators to help out with running the group. There has been an increase in submissions.

Previous experience moderating groups is preferred but not required. You must be a kind and friendly person. You do not have to be a vector-making person, but it must be clear you know about vectors and that you can help people when necessary. On that note, we ask you to answer two simple questions, detailed below.
We do expect you to be active, but you do not have to spend all of your free time with the group. We simply ask you do what you can when you can.

Please send a note to the group if you're interested. Include in the note:
- a simple explanation on the difference between a vector-based image and a raster (bitmap)-based image
- a simple explanation of one method on how to tell if an image is a vector
We will get back to you as soon as we can.

Good evening everyone,

We apologise for the backlog of submissions, which has resulted in extended delays and many submissions expiring.

Please be patient with submissions - we may not be able to check for up to a few days at a time, but one of us will hopefully get around to it. If your submission expires, then you are of course more than welcome to resubmit it.

Please also note that the group does not accept the following:
- Sexual, violent or mature images
- Bases, recolours and doll makers (If you made a base, that is acceptable. If you used someone else's base, it is not acceptable.)
- Images that are not vector-based images. Paint.NET, the GIMP and Paint Tool SAI are not vectoring programs. Examples of vectoring programs include Inkscape and Illustrator.

We hope to have the situation resolved soon.
